Bandipur National Park, which is an 874-sq.-km forested reserve is located in the state of Karnataka, It is known for its little population of tigers. It was once the private hunting ground of the Mysore kings, now the park also bears Indian elephants, spotted deer, gaurs (bison), antelopes and numerous other local species. The park's highest peak is visible from the 14th-century Himavad Gopalaswamy Temple.
You will be pick up from Bangalore Railway Station / Airport / Hotel and drive to Bandipur
National Park. On arrival check in hotel and lodge. Overnight in Bandipur.
Enjoy coffee / tea at 06.30 AM in the morning. Later proceed for wildlife safari and see the has
remarkable variety of flora and fauna. Bandipur is home to Leopard, Asiatic Wild Dogs, Stripped
Hyenas, Jackals, Jungle Cats, Leopard Cats, Rusty Spotted Cats, Palm Civet, Small Indian Civets,
Otters and four different species of Mongooses (the common stripe necked, brown and ruddy
mongooses), Gaur, Sambar, Cheetal, Muntjac, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Four-Horn Antelope.
Back to resort and enjoy breakfast at 10.00 AM.
